The Pokémon Go craze has arrived

Since the app came out last week Pokémon Go has managed to take over many Australians lives, leading it to become the fastest selling app in mobile history. Commonly praised for it ability to entice people into walking and (by extension) increasing their daily exercise regime, it seems like the game is here to stay for a while.

For those 3D printing enthusiasts out there, there is no better time to start printing Pokémon products for yourself as well as friends and family. There are a plethora of ready made 3D files on Thingiverse.

Thingiverse user FLOWALISTIK has created low-poly versions of the starter Pokémon Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Pikachu respectively. There are also 3D files of Pokéballs  that open, complete with stand by International 3D.

X3D has a wide variety of filament colours in PLA , ABS and other specialty plastics that can be used to print your favourite Pokémon. What’s more, we currently have a 3 for 2 deal: Buy 2 rolls of X3D premium filament and get another roll free!
